Nanking Cargo Collection

This is sum total of the Nanking Cargo collection - it was about 45 (i) small plates or saucers and (ii) small tea cups or bowls (the teacups are still in the square packaging you see, so I am guessing that there is a matching number of 45).  I have a feeling that some larger bowls may have made their way back to Geenhill in Bermuda.  If so, I assume they are stored in the room up at the barn.
I have taken it from the Cage.  Let me know if you would like any of it.

The Nanking Cargo was auctioned in Amsterdam in 1986. The auction was a five-day sale of Chinese porcelain and gold that took place from April 28 to May 2.

What was the Nanking Cargo?
The Nanking Cargo was a shipment of Chinese porcelain that was wrecked in the South China Sea in 1752.
The cargo was packed in tea and survived for 235 years.
It was recovered by British-born salvage expert Michael Hatcher.
The cargo was part of the Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie's (V.O.C.) Private Trade.

What was auctioned?
The auction included over 150,000 pieces of porcelain, including tea sets, dinner sets, vases, and butter tubs.
The auction also included rare gold ingots.
The auction brought in $15.3 million, double the pre-auction estimates.
