£100 A NIGHT FOR TWO PEOPLE

1. The flat is on the fifth floor and faces south.

2. There are two double bedrooms, reception room and dining hall, bathroom (plus shower unit) and separate additional cloakroom and kitchen. There is a good lift.

3. There is gas central heating. As you come in through the flat door there is a door on your right. Inside are two switches for the hot water and the central heating. The one nearest to you is the central heating switch. There is a time clock so you can regulate the on and off times. You will need to switch on the hot water 40 minutes before wanting a hot bath or shower.

4. In the bathroom there is a towel rail and a shower unit. The adjacent switches outside the bathroom are:

Switch on the left: this has two separate switches, the one on the right being for the towel rail.
Switch on the right: this is for the light

5. The keys are left with the resident porter, Mrs Carter. She is in Flat 1 on the ground floor, telephone number 020 7730 2822. She is very helpful and do please ask her to help in any way.

6. Mary O'Toole comes in twice a week to clean the flat. Her number is 07904 524 661. Ask her about laundry which goes off every week. Also laundry in Ebury Street.

7. There are three keys:

(i) Key with indents/serrated edge to enter the building.
(ii) Gold key (bottom keyhole of door)
(iii) Yale key to open front door having used gold key.

9. There are good shops across the road: chemist, grocer (for milk), good snack bar (Italian run) and expensive but good Italian/French restaurant adjacent to Belgravia Court called Santini. For fresh bread and excellent supermarket go to Victoria Station entrance for Marks and Spencer. Good snack bar on corner of Lower Belgrave Street and Ebury Street (soups/sandwiches etc).

10. The chute for rubbish is opposite the lift.

11. Please keep a note of long distance telephone calls. For ease of calculation £1 per minute overseas. Local calls forget!

12. Please use the cover and table cloth in the table drawer when having hot things on the dining hall table.

13. I would be grateful if you would semi-close curtains in the drawing room if away so as to protect the water colour paintings.
