Spit01.jpg (31464 bytes)On Saturday, 8th September, 2001 the second in the series of cross country races begins at 9:00am at Spittal Pond.  The course, through the trails and around the pond, is a tough 1.1(approx) miles per lap.  The under 10s and under 12s do two laps, while the under 14s tackle three laps.

The race begins at the car park and each laps return to South Shore Road 100 yards east of the car park. Here are the runners completing the first lap.  Carlo Paynter (no picture) is in the lead followed by:
